My life was changed the day God told me, “Royalty according to my divine standards has nothing to do with natural birth but has everything to do with Character!” Having understood that royalty was all about character, I began to look back at all the events in my life. I saw that God worked in my life’s circumstances to develop his royal character. Royalty by God’s yardstick is more demanding because it emphasizes quality.
In my case, it has been an ongoing process of falling and getting up, shedding and drying tears, pain and joy, yet in all those circumstances, God has taught me that: he allows us to go through complex seasons of life because he has called us to a higher purpose. Before I knew him that had called my name, I sensed his presence influencing the affairs of my life, working in the midst of my trials and tribulations, shaping my destiny and preparing me for the time that I would rule with him in heavenly places. It follows then that if I am to rule with him, I have to share in his sufferings too.
Once we understand who has called us and the process we must undergo to be more Christ-like, our lives will overflow with supernatural joy. Not only will they get an insight into the process of how God makes his children into Royalty, we will also be changed by the power of the living God as we see the manifestation of his glorious hand in the lives of those who dare to trust him.
