“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17: 7, 8 KJV

There are times when there are no doors to open so that we can escape from heartaches and trials. It is so dark and lonely and we can’t get out of this despair. We have a window of hope and His name is Jesus. We can open the window to our hearts and let Him take away the pain and sadness from our hearts.

Jesus is not only the Saviour of the world; He is the hope of the world. When we have done everything that we can do in a situation, Jesus will step in and work on our behalf. He will make the impossible to become possible. When we are facing financial problems, He will always supply the need. He is faithful and we can depend on Him. The question we should ask ourselves is “Can Jesus depend on me”?

It doesn’t matter what trials or heartaches you are facing today, Jesus is your hope. He will pick you up in His arms of love and carry you when you can’t go another step. He will fight your battles and bring you to victory through His precious atoning blood that He shed on the cross of Calvary. He will comfort, encourage, and strengthen you.

Do you have the hope of the world in your heart today? Has there ever been a time in your life when you admitted that you were a sinner and asked Jesus to forgive you and come into your heart and save you? If not, I urge you to do it now.
